It all started with a simple love for dogs.

Knight & Paws started from a simple love for dogs and a desire to create a place where pets could feel at home, even when their families couldn’t be with them.

As pet owners ourselves, we understand how hard it can be to leave your beloved dog in someone else’s care. We wanted to create a more personal experience — one where dogs receive attention, affection, playtime, and care in a comfortable home environment rather than feeling like they are simply being boarded.

What began with caring for pets and welcoming them into our home grew into Knight & Paws — a small, home-based pet care business built around trust, comfort, and genuine love for animals.

Hi, I’m Mikka!

Founder, owner, and primary sitter behind Knight & Paws!

Knight & Paws was created from my genuine love for dogs and my passion for providing them with a safe, comfortable, and loving home away from home.

As the founder and owner, I personally oversee the care of every dog that stays with us. I take the time to get to know each pup — their personality, routine, preferences, and individual needs — so they can feel comfortable, happy, and cared for throughout their stay.

Whether your pup is a gentle giant, a playful social butterfly, a little explorer, or simply prefers to take things at their own pace, I believe every dog deserves patience, attention, and care that feels personal.

My approach is built on trust, communication, safety, and genuine love for animals. I want every pet parent to feel confident knowing their dog is being cared for in a warm, family-style home environment.
